Yup, it's Mimi's birthday today. Ayden is excited for 2 reasons.1. He loves birthdays, birthday cake and birthday presents. Oh, and balloons. It doesn't matter that it's not for him, he just loves birthdays! This morning he told me that when Bumpa gets home from the airplane, we have to make Mimi a cake and he's going to help her open presents. Yes, little dude...that's exactly what we're going to do!
2. He knows that after Mimi's birthday, it's his birthday. On our way to school this morning he asked me for about the 10th time how many sleeps he had until his birthday. I promised him that after 4 sleeps, it would be his turn.
So, HAPPY BIRTHDAY Mimi! We love you very much and hope you have a fabulous day. Of course, we'll see you at swim lessons tonight we'll grab a bite afterward but your true celebration will be this weekend. We can't celebrate without the Bumpa and a cake (per Ayden's instructions)!

I take umbrage with the "OLDER THAN DIRT" cake!!! As a person in the same age bracket as your mother! Your day is coming...you can't escape the aging process so be good to your elders!!! Thank Heaven you've agreed to help take care of the old Divas in the future!
